Take the UTA Ski Bus Survey
If you rode the UTA Ski Bus this year, you can submit your feedback by taking their public survey. UTA, Save Our Canyons, Wasatch Backcountry Alliance, and the Central Wasatch commission worked together with member jurisdictions and ski resorts to increase the Ski Bus services for the ‘19/’20 ski season. The UTA
Cottonwood Canyons ski buses sped up bus service and added more trips in both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Route 953 to Snowbird and Alta Ski Area saw a 26% increase in trips and Route 972 to Solitude Mountain Resort and Brighton Resort saw a 28% increase. Although the resort ski season was sadly cut short this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, UTA wants to continue to provide quality transit service for next season. To do this, they need feedback from the public.
Now, UTA wants to hear from the public about their experience using the ski bus during the ‘19/’20 ski season. They have created the UTA Ski Bus Survey to get feedback on the user-experience of riding the Ski Bus. The survey is open until April 30th, 2020. Once public feedback is complete, UTA will review and share the outcomes with the public. Take the survey here.
I rode the bus a few times. I liked the increased frequency and the times. I also liked the modifications to the inside. I had a ski pass that included the cost of the bus fare so if the ride is not free it should be free or at least the return leg should be free so kids can take the bus down the canyon instead of their parent going up and back twice for their kids.
Nice work.
