Tuesday, January 13, 2026, marks the beginning of

Tuesday, January 13, 2026, marks the beginning of the Call for Ideas for the Central Wasatch Commission (CWC) Short-Term Project Grant Cycle. Proposed ideas must fall within the four major issue areas of the Central Wasatch Mountains: transportation, economic vitality, environmental sustainability, and recreational stewardship. The application period closes on February 10th, 2026 at 5 p.m.

This Call for Ideas is meant to explore short-term project ideas in the CWC project area that are largely “shovel-ready” for the CWC to consider for funding. “Shovel-ready” means that if funding is received, the project will be ready to break ground with all planning, communication, and permits already completed and obtained at the time of application.
