Human Element
The “human element” of the environmental dashboard incorporates data collected through the Central Wasatch Commission’s Visitor-Use Study, conducted by Utah State University from 2021 — 2023. The purpose of the Visitor-Use Study was to explore how outdoor recreation use and its associated impacts can be quantified and monitored over time within the Central Wasatch. The below data illustrates the trails data component of the Visitor-Use Study.
